This week I spilled my coffee twice. I'm not talking a small regular household mug. The de Gallo coffee cup is a whopping 24 oz.
It would be a tragedy of course if it was just the coffee spilled. However in the usual over dramatic fashion I had to spill the whole damn cup on my computer keyboard and computer chair. And then a day later all over the couch and the tv remote.
Luckily Piko de Gallo was at school the first time, and in bed the second.
Because I let it rip.
It was like the opening scene of Four Weddings and a Funeral, where Hugh is late for the wedding and he's running around the house yelling "Bugger!". Yep that was me.
A lovely side effect though is now my chair and couch smell like coffee. It's strangely calming.

coffee smells in the morning....
"...Smells like Victory!"
I feel like after talking to you yesterday, that I am horribly out of the loop. And then I remembered - THE BLOG!
Anyway. About the coffee. I'm developing a problem that can honestly be traced back to you. There is a Starbucks right across the street from my office! Well, let's face it, I live in Seattle where there is a Starbucks across the street from a Starbucks, so this isn't all that shocking. But my co-workers make frequent daily visits to the place and I have been going too! Mochas, vanilla lattes (Definitely your influence). Hot. Cold. I drink it all now!! I try to do sugar-free, non-fat, but it is still crazy. And don't get me started on the $$. I try to limit to 2-3 trips per week.
A girl's got to know when to say when.

That's funny, I was reading about the Starbucks Unionization issues this morning. The 'Bucks on base opened, and my new neighbor works there. I've only been once. Since you're not here I have noone to go with.
Now I can make you a personalized reusable java jacket for your coffee runs!
Yay! Project!
